What is Kundli Matching (Gun Milan)?

Kundli Matching - also called Gun Milan, Kundali Milan or Ashtakoot Milan - is the traditional Vedic method of checking marriage compatibility between a prospective bride and groom. It compares the Moon's position (Rashi and Nakshatra) in both birth charts across eight kootas worth a total of 36 gunas (points). The higher the score, the more naturally compatible the couple is considered.
