The Maha Meru Shri Yantra on Tortoise pairs the sacred three-dimensional Meru Yantra with the symbol of the cosmic tortoise (Kurma), which in Hindu cosmology supports the earth and represents steadiness and longevity. This combination is traditionally regarded as doubly auspicious: the Meru Yantra provides an upward-reaching focal point for devotion, while the tortoise base grounds its energies and is associated with stability in the home. The piece is intended for placement in a dedicated worship space with appropriate ritual care.
In the Vedic tradition, the tortoise (Kurma) is a symbol of Vishnu's second avatar and is associated with cosmic support and longevity. The Shri Yantra at its crown connects to the energies of Goddess Mahalakshmi and, in some lineages, to Shukra (Venus). Together, this form is believed to help stabilise the energy of a household and cultivate an atmosphere conducive to perseverance and devotion. As with any yantra, proper installation under the guidance of a knowledgeable pandit is traditionally recommended.
