About this Nazar Raksha Kavach (KANR-001)

The Nazar Raksha Kavach is a protective talisman rooted in the age-old Indian practice of guarding oneself and one's home against the ill effects of the evil eye (nazar). Crafted as a wearable pendant, this kavach is traditionally kept close to the body or hung at the entrance of a home, shop, or vehicle to act as a shield against envious glances and negative intentions from others. In many Indian households it is also placed near children who are considered particularly sensitive to nazar.

  • Traditionally worn as a pendant for personal protection
  • Placed at doorways or in vehicles to guard living and working spaces
  • Gifted to newborns and young children in customary Indian households
  • Used as part of daily puja or kept near the home altar

Astrological significance

In the Vedic tradition, the concept of nazar or evil eye is taken seriously, and protective talismans are believed to create an energetic barrier around the wearer. The Nazar Raksha Kavach is traditionally associated with warding off malefic external influences that may disrupt a person's aura and well-being. It is believed to absorb and neutralise negative energies directed, consciously or unconsciously, towards the wearer, thereby preserving the positive flow of prana in one's life.
