The Sumeru Kachhap Sriyantra in Brass measures 11 cm and is cast in auspicious brass, combining two of the most revered forms in the Vedic Yantra tradition. The Sumeru (or Meru) form gives the Sri Yantra its three-dimensional, mountain-like elevation, while the Kachhap (tortoise) base grounds it — the tortoise being a sacred symbol of stability and longevity in Hindu cosmology. Together, this form is traditionally placed in the home, pooja room, or place of business as an object of devotional focus, with the Sri Yantra's interlocking triangles representing the union of the divine masculine and feminine principles.
The Sri Yantra is traditionally associated with the goddess Tripura Sundari (Lalita Devi) and is considered in the Sri Vidya tradition to be the geometric expression of the cosmos itself. In Vedic astrological tradition, the Sri Yantra is also linked to Venus (Shukra), the planet of beauty, abundance, and harmony. Keeping this Yantra with devotion is believed by practitioners to invite the goddess's grace and to support the auspicious qualities of Venus in one's life — though the primary purpose of the Sri Yantra is devotional and meditative rather than merely planetary.
