About this Cat’s Eye/ Lehsunia Pendant
The Cat's Eye / Lehsunia Pendant features a natural Cat's Eye gemstone set in silver metal, noted for its distinctive greyish colour. Cat's Eye — called Lehsunia or Vaidurya in Sanskrit — is one of the Navaratnas and is immediately recognisable by the striking optical phenomenon known as chatoyancy: a luminous band of light that moves across the surface of the stone, resembling the slit pupil of a cat's eye. This mesmerising effect occurs due to the stone's fibrous internal structure.
In Vedic practice, Cat's Eye pendants are worn close to the body, traditionally around the neck or on the middle finger. Because this gemstone is associated with Ketu — a shadow planet whose influence is considered highly specific to an individual's karmic chart — it is strongly advised that this pendant be worn only after a thorough consultation with a qualified Jyotish astrologer.
