The Shri Sampoorna Yantra on Tortoise, also known in certain traditions as the Mahalakshmi Yantra on Tortoise, is a composite sacred object that brings together multiple auspicious symbols in one piece. The word sampoorna means “complete” or “whole,” and this yantra is traditionally understood as an all-encompassing form meant to address various aspects of well-being and spiritual aspiration. Placed on the tortoise, it draws on the ancient symbolism of Kurma as a stable, earth-sustaining force beneath the sacred geometric design above.
The Sampoorna Yantra is associated with Goddess Mahalakshmi, the deity of abundance, grace, and beauty, and is traditionally linked to the planetary energy of Shukra (Venus) in Vedic thought. The tortoise support further evokes the protective influence of Lord Vishnu in his Kurma avatar. Devotees traditionally believe that sincere, consistent worship of this yantra fosters a sattvic atmosphere and a spirit of gratitude. A qualified pandit should be consulted for proper consecration and puja vidhi.
